I’m drilling through Genesis in what is considered to be the most readably accurate translation of the Old Testament from the original Hebrew. Not sure who needs to know that this exists, but there is a very good argument for how inaccuracies in modern translations confuses the message or flow/song of the scripture. Robert Alter does a phenomenal job on this work. This is an excellent collectors piece for your library as well TIP: If you have Apple Books you can read the first 300 pages as a sample.
