Monika Bravo was commissioned by the architect Gabriel Cure to conceptualize, photograph, design, and produce this book. As a translation of his work into her vision.  ​ The reader has in their hands a book that brings together the work of an architect and an artist. It does so not by putting them next to one another, nor inside one another, and least of all, by limiting the artist’s job to being merely the designer or illustrator of a book exclusively about an architect.  ​[…] ...What the book offers the reader, or visitor, are other experiences, different but comparable to the sensory and emotional experiences that Gabriel Cure’s architecture would offer that same visitor. There is an additional aspect in which, according to the artist, this book and Cure’s architecture meet. From the perspective of Evolutionary Astrology, Pluto’s oppositions to the personal planets in Leo throughout 2025 activate the Leo–Aquarius polarity, forcing the soul to individuate by standing in its own will, voice, worth, and identity without leaning on the crowd. When Pluto opposes all personal planets in Leo in a row in eight months, it is a blessing and also a dissection of the self. It presses against identity, emotion, voice, value, and will. Each planet has been pulled into the underworld of transformation, and none of them will come back untouched. This, my friends, is a once-in-a-lifetime alignment and in evolutionary terms it is a passage of initiation. 2025 is a threshold, and if you have planets at the very beginning of the fixed signs—Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Taurus—you are being directly drawn into this deep work. So when Pluto opposed Mars three times at the end of last year and into the spring of this year, the way we embody desire and will was tested for pure integrity. Then came the New Moon in July. When both the Sun and Moon opposed that zone, your authenticity became non-negotiable and your emotional safety needed restructuring so you could validate yourself against the crowd. Then when Pluto opposed Mercury retrograde, you heard the voice inside you that needed to speak truth without distortion. And now it is about to oppose Venus on the 27th, sealing these oppositions for now until next summer. This is the confrontation with how you relate to your needs, how you hold leverage in relationships with yourself and with others, and how you stand in your worth. At that time Jupiter will visit Leo, and the Sun will be conjunct Jupiter opposing Pluto at the end of July, an abundant expansion of authenticity where perspective widens and fear transforms into self-trust. This is a full recalibration of what it means to stand in your own worth—unavoidable, visible, and demanding the courage to stand alone, not behind a crowd. This is a caveat, my friends. This particular zone of the chart in every human being and in every event has been relentlessly activated in 2025 toward deep transformation. We will not be the same after this passage. With a New Moon in Virgo two days ago, and another one at the end of the month that happens to be an eclipse, we are entering a threshold that can be called a completely new beginning. If you are feeling it and you are in the process of it, that is the work. Now we can trace what has happened. Mars opened the confrontation, the New Moon lit the flame of authenticity, Mercury stationed direct and gave a voice to it, and Venus now seals the values and the needs that must carry forward as Pluto makes it irreversible. We are getting ready for 2026 and beyond. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a time for fireworks. Yes.

The work explores geometry in both the built environment and the natural landscape, weaving together two architectures: the one we live in and the one we are. I integrate biomorphic rhythms—birds, flowers, imagined forms—alongside the lines of the city and the land, drawing from Ricardo Legorreta’s bold geometries and the native flora and fauna of the region. Each mural is a dreamlike field—an imagined landscape, an invitation inward. Health is not a destination but an unfolding awareness. On August 15, 1971, Nixon suspended the dollar’s convertibility to gold, claiming it was “to stabilize the economy.” It was never reversed. This single move severed the Bretton Woods system and made the U.S. dollar a pure fiat currency, setting the stage for decades of monetary expansion and chronic devaluation. Happy anniversary, filthy, devalued U.S. dollar. Thank you for giving us everything that fiat erodes: health, food, medicine, education, savings, peace, family values, and infrastructure, all culminating in a decadent society.
