In my upcoming book, there is a chapter called "The Hijacking of the Modern and Intuitive Mind," where I have a conversation between myself, Deleuze, and Bergson. My dialogue with them is about trying to understand the indoctrination that helped deteriorate civilization during the 20th century. Certain ideas they were meant to practice differently were weaponized against the population, and now we are seeing the result. It is very harsh to digest, and this is just the beginning. I am not a doomer, by all means. I am observing this reality and making changes I need to make in my life. My questions are now being grounded in reality. A good listen is Winston Marshall with Charles Gave, a French economist and political commentator, on the riots sweeping France, the collapse of French institutions, and whether Western civilization can rediscover its identity before it is too late (I do not think so). This is the second French Revolution, and astrologically, they are right on time.

One year ago, Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $126,198.07. By July, it had fallen to $57,750, a 54.2% drawdown. Today, October 5, Bitcoin is around $87,000, up 50.6% from the July low and still about 31% below the all-time high. Two weeks ago, I wrote an article about the possibilities. Let’s see if they’re still available. Venus retrograde began October 3 and continues until November 13, with October 24 marking the midpoint. What happens here next with Venus and Mercury retrograde is for us to find out.

Commitment is where value becomes visible. I went back through the Venus retrograde cycles of 1994, 2002, 2010, and 2018 to see what I valued, what I was building, and where my time was actually going. This one feels very different. I am looking at where I place value now, and what I am willing to finance with my time. Every eight years, Venus returns to more or less the same part of the zodiac. I went backward through those cycles and found a pattern: perspective changes, behavior changes, value changes. This time I am looking at commitment, ROI, opportunity cost, relationships, creativity, and the freedom I have regained. I can care about somebody. I can see their potential. I can understand exactly where they are because I lived there myself. I just do not want to finance that potential with my time anymore. Venus retrograde in Scorpio has me looking very closely at value, commitment, and where my energy actually goes.
