What I hate most about the banking system isn’t the loans, the interest, or the way they invest people’s money. It isn’t even the way they hold money hostage.
No, it’s the fact that they never truly lose. Every risk, every consequence, falls on the people. Every failure is ours to bear. And yet, the banks continue to act as if they’re above the law, exploiting the system with impunity.
They claim it’s just business, but real businesses face real risks. In the banking world, only the users carry the burden. When someone can’t repay a loan, the bank doesn’t lose, they seize people’s money and assets. And then, when quarterly reports are released, the headlines proudly announce “Record Profits.”
And if the bank itself stumbles? It doesn’t matter, they are rescued by government bailouts, while ordinary people shoulder the fallout.
So tell me, why are we letting this cancerous system thrive, fully fed and untouchable? Who are we even protecting?
