What’s wrong will always be wrong regardless of how many people are doing it; what’s right will always be right regardless of how few people are doing it.
Israel supporters began using bear mace and firecrackers on protestors at UCLA. Not a cop in sight.
I’ve noticed that Zionist men, particularly the younger ones (18 - 35) have a habit of adding something disturbingly and darkly sexual to their verbal threats. There’s some sort of inherent perversion there that was already evident in the IDFs behavior last year (posing for pictures with brutalized women’s underwear, etc). For example, it won’t just be “fuck you,” to a protestor, it’ll be “I’ll fuck your ass.” Not to mention full-blown rape threats to college age girls.
Disgusted, disappointed, enraged. Never felt this unfathomably hopeless about the country and society I live in, not to mention the people I’ve spent years walking around and amongst. I’m sick to my stomach.
Police at UCLA just dealt a severe head injury to a peaceful protestor on campus. He is being hidden from medics. They’re copying Israeli tactics. The police and military force have always been the enemy. These people have blood on their hands. This behavior cannot ever be tolerated and normalized. Whenever an incident like this occurs, we need even more people to overwhelm the campus and make the brutality of police officers difficult for them to carry out. If you were all for supporting opposition to police force back during the BLM movement, don’t lose your morals now.
I’m sitting and wondering if my future husband is currently canoodling with some woman who’s in love with him, thinking she’s the one and they’re meant to be. Dumbass is going to be in for shock when I show up. God better prepare the fool. I’ll pray for him.
There’s a bakery in Newport Beach named C’est Si Bon, and they have the most heavenly cake I’ve had the pleasure of eating in the past 15 years or so (the only other who measures up is from a bakery in Karachi). If you have the chance to be in Orange County, go there and buy the chocolate mousse cake, which comes both as a slice and a whole sheet fit for about 20 people. You won’t regret it, I swear.
Out of all the man-made things this planet has, I find paint to be the most painfully beautiful. I want to take buckets of it, slather it on every object and place in my surroundings and I feel horribly restricted.
You are officially antisemitic if you breathe in the direction of the State of Israel, for which offenders will be promptly arrested and sent to Gaza to be executed along with the rest of the 6 year-old antisemitic terrorists. #fuckzionism #fuckisrael
The true resisters, the real freedom fighters. This is what courage means. I live in Irvine and UCI started their encampments yesterday at 7 AM. I’m going to switch between being at UCLA (on the weekends mostly) and UCI during the week. If anyone resides in the aforementioned areas, join us. View quoted note →
Can’t stand pretty boys, I’d take a rugged mountain man over some angel-wing-touched male model any damn day
I’ve never had such a swift switch-up on a person as I had on Kendrick Lamar this year. My man Cole has more raw talent and decency in a finger than this half pint bitch who can’t marry a woman he’s been ‘engaged’ to for a decade does in his entire body.
My dad brought me buckeye chocolates from Cincinnati and I finished a whole box just now. I’m not usually a fan of candy but these are divine.
*Highly* recommended reading for anyone who is interested in or has the tiniest bit of experience dealing with matters of love, desire, or romance (which should be most people). I read this many years ago and still return to it time and time again when I feel confused about my feelings or reactions to a particular person, or when, God forbid, I start to develop a crush and find myself needing a reality check. Most insightful secular book I am currently in the possession of. image
Fact: I was born with straight hair and one day my mom shaved my head and the hair grew back curly. I talk about curly hair so much because I’m a fraud.
There’s nothing I hate more on Twitter than people with large followings who stay quiet about the important things. Whether due to fear or apathy or some misguided believe that their ‘posts don’t make a different,’ it’s all a sickening revelation of their character.
