Bitcoin lightning addresses are a game changer! But the @ symbol is already used for email and using it for lightning is confusing. May I humbly suggest... image

The best money does ONE thing: be money. If you think digital money can be improved because it's programmable, can we at least compromise and do that on higher layers, and leave the base layer alone? I agree with @Simply Bitcoin #ossify

I concluded many months ago that this was the biggest threat to Bitcoin. As adoption explodes and new waves of coders enter the Bitcoin space, their instinct will be to "improve" it. This is why we need ossification.

The best money does ONE thing: be money. Additional use cases only make money worse, not better. If some think money can be improved in the digital age by making it "programmable," can we at least compromise and put those features on layer 2, and leave the base layer alone?

Can someone who is IN FAVOR of increasing the op_return to 100kb tell me why they support this change to the Bitcoin code?

No one has answered the question, so I'll ask again: The sub-100 byte op_return has worked for 10 years. Why does it need to be changed now?

Apparently, Charlie's favorite verse was Ephesians 5:25: Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for her. My wife will tell you I'm a good husband, but I'm a little ashamed that after 30 years of marriage it never occurred to me that maybe Ephesians 5:25 should be my favorite verse, too. I will do better.

After being beaten beyond recognition and nailed to a cross, he actually said , "Father forgive them, they don't know what they're doing." And he meant it. All of those people celebrating the murder on an innocent man don't know what they're doing. But for the grace of God, I wouldn't either.

@Simply Bitcoin I could not watch the show live due to my schedule. Thank you, Opti, for today's opener. Fourth turnings are never easy, and hard times lie ahead. Charlie was not just a hero of the faith, but also a Bitcoiner. Now, we must HODL not only our coins, but our faith in God, our country, and humanity. Christ is still King.
