Apparently, Charlie's favorite verse was Ephesians 5:25: Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for her. My wife will tell you I'm a good husband, but I'm a little ashamed that after 30 years of marriage it never occurred to me that maybe Ephesians 5:25 should be my favorite verse, too. I will do better.

Bitcoin is such a paradigm shift that almost no one understands it when they first find it. Nearly every bitcoin maxi went through a shitcoin phase. With each new and bigger wave of adoption, bitcoin must withstand the onslaught of untransformed fiat minds entering the space. Many of these people become arrogant know-it-alls quickly, and it takes time to reach the 'stay humble and stack sats' mindset. The real danger is from those fools who never get there. They wish to change bitcoin rather than letting bitcoin change them. I still believe bitcoin is antifragile and will survive every attack. But we desperately need those in media ( @BTC Sessions @Simply Bitcoin and the many great podcasters) to stay on mission, and forward-thinking devs ( @Luke Dashjr ) who understand Bitcoin is more than lines of code, and miners and node runners with a time preference of centuries. We must all do our part to keep fighting the good fight. Bitcoin will win. HODL on.
