Not sure anyone really knows what's happening in in DC. But...
There is so much construction happening that many things are inaccessible - like the white house itself, but much more.
Black gates surround and cordone walkways, buildings, parks. It's pretty uninviting right now.
Also, the national guard is everywhere. Even in my hotel. They're chill, but yeah, everywhere.
You get the feel that either:
A) the city is in mid-transition toward a clean/rebuilt future. The gates will be removed, the guard will leave and everything will be safer and nicer.
B) We're under a complete fucking lock down. The gates will not be removed and thr guard won't stay chill forever.

Abhorrent to the uniform, anathema to the mundane. The words contained in this repository will astound!

I think the muggy heat makes people pretty standoff-ish in DC. It's not really a rudeness. Just clear boundaries. Less tolerance.
It's hard to make conversation.
Well. I'm done for the day. Wrapping up with more of the same:

The boot of democracy.

There's been a lot of talk about the reflecting pool. Looked good today, despite the algae and recent defacement.
We got full-time algae hunters now. LFG!

Not creepy at all

The phallus of phreedum

Kinda hard to read. Think it says Usury Department.

Lock down bitchez

Georgetown is kinda tough. People arent real nice. Seems pretty divided between dirty poor and bougie rich.
A microcosm for the east coast maybe.
It's really not my scene. Also, weed is shitty quality and hella 'spensive.
Missing my Cali home already. π’
Georgetown, DC bitchez. Creepy beautiful place. πΊπΈ

I made a note of pics from my trip. They all uploaded. Pressed post. Bloop. Nowhere. Wtf?
Anyway. I'll try again if this note goes through fine.
Son: What's it like being a dad?
Me: Imagine always being in last place.
GM nostr. Heading out to DC this morning. LFG!
