Abhorrent to the uniform. Anathema to the mundane. The words contained in this repository will astound.

1 year in to Trump's presidency, I'm trying to give an honest reflection (without googling anything for confirmation) on how it's going from my own perspective. This is just my honest take as an American about how things went and how I feel:
πΊπΈ
First, I just want to say that blowing up the Climate Accords and putting NATO on notice is awesome from an America First perspective. Foreign entanglements never sat well with me and I'd be happy to leave Europe to fend for themselves.
Tarrifs have seemed to work in our benefit as well. This is a win for Trump so far, as all the predictions of inflation and economic destruction have so far been shown to be bullshit.
I gotta say that I'm pretty happy with the slow-down/reversal of DEI programs and transgender sports shit. It doesn't really effect me, but right is right and women's sports should be protected.
I'm even happier with the discovery and removal of fraud perpetuated against taxpayers citizens. This Minessota shit is out of control. I live in California and I hope Trump runs Newsome through the wash soon.
I'm happy with the sealing of the southern border and the disruption to human/drug trafficking that occurred there. This is probably his #1 accomplishment. Pretty astonishing, really.
I don't really like seeing ICE and the national guard in city streets... but I also don't like paid agitators doing their soft-terrorism thing... I've been pretty jaded after living through the covid era and the 'peaceful' protests related to George Floyd and BLM, etc. So this issue is a bit of a toss-up for me.
Gas is down. Eggs are down. Bitcoin's down.
The job market sucks. But it already did, so I don't really blame Trump for it. I may assign more or less blame to Trump later this year if it doesn't improve.
It seems a rash of conflicts have indeed been stopped by Trump's interventions. Maybe not as many as he claims, but a lot more than I remember from any other president in my life.
Then there's:
Iran
Gaza
Venezuela
Each of these countries/territories have seen some level of force leveraged against them by Trump in a way that isn't easily defensible. Certainly not constitutional.
There's also the handling of the Epstein files... which is laughable. I hoped for something better than we got there, but we didnt get shit from the last guy either, so in some ways, the current shitshow is still an improvement over the last one.
He's an obvious narcissist, Trump. He's not particularly well-spoken. I often cringe when he speaks. But he gives me the impression that he's serious about the shit he says.
Finally, Greenland and Canada.. I'm sorry. Please surrender your children. I hope we can learn to move past this when we're all American. π€£
So...I think I'd rate him pretty high after considering the failures and accomplishments he's made this far.
There is no perfect President. They are all sociopaths. But it's important we weigh the differences made by them year-to-year or term-to-term
He's certainly the most consequential POTUS of my lifetime, if nothing else.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!!
