Once again @Guy Swann nails it. He has an uncanny ability to take the complex topic of money and economics, breaking it down to its simplest form with very accurate and easily digestible metaphors. You can so clearly hear his passion for this subject when you listen to him speak and it never fails to fire me up. Can’t wait for the next episode of this series Guy! #bitcoin

Living tomorrow’s dream today is always open to you. Who says you must only live in the past? By living forward in time, mortals are always weighed down by the burden of memory; they allow the past to create the present. The wizard chooses to let the future create the present—that is what living backwards in time really means.

If the government can create money out of nothing whenever they want to spend (they can), why the need to collect taxes from their citizens? To deceive people to the scam that is fiat money. First, taxes are a cloak to deceive people into thinking this is how the government pays for their expenses. On a gold standard (pre 1913) this was how governments generated revenue, making it deeply engrained in people’s minds that this is still the same case today. Second, and arguably most important to keeping the scam alive, is the fact that taxes are a great tool for the government to keep price levels suppressed in order to cloak the deadliest tax of all, inflation. By taxing the people on everything they do, they are able to minimize the quantity of dollars in circulation to bid on goods and services. Less dollars in circulation = less quantity of dollars people can afford to spend = lower prices on goods and services. The fact that prices are still rapidly rising despite the insane percentage of people’s income that goes towards taxes is even more proof that the fiat scam is out of control and on its last legs. Trade your fiat in for #bitcoin before the government spends your hard earned money

As long as you’re certain about things, you are living within boundaries. Yet things you think you are certain of actually have new qualities to unfold

Mortals believe that they are physical machines that learned to think. Actually, they are thoughts that learned to create a physical machine.

Excellent episode of Bitcoin audible! The concept of the next big things looking like a toy at first really hit for me. @TheGuySwann keep episodes like this coming! Even though it's not directly about #bitcoin, it's definitely a part of the same movement.

You need the money to control the information and the information to maintain control of the money

Inflation does not mean everything is more expensive, it means our money is becoming less valuable because there is more of it. Money is a tool of measurement. Just like a tape measure is used to determine distance in inches, money is used to determine value in prices. Saying everything is more expensive is like saying you’re still growing in your 30’s because it takes more inches to measure from your feet to your head. You’re not growing, your tool for measuring is just broken
