When governments face budget gaps, they often print more money and indirectly taxing citizens through inflation.

What is the most important concept you've come to understand about Bitcoin?
Time doesn’t heal anything, it only teaches us how to live with the pain.
Over 200,000 Nigerians lost their money to the CBEX trading platform scam.
Ironically, these are the same people who, when introduced to Bitcoin, will say, "Bitcoin is a scam!" and they don’t trust it.
I was shocked to discover that even some of my close friends fell for this trap. They chose not to tell me about it because they knew I would warn them against it, and now they’ve lost everything.
I may not be wealthy in Bitcoin, but I’ll always trust it as a long-term investment over any questionable scheme.
Bitcoin taught me dips are temporary, but conviction lasts forever. Have a strong day! 🚀
Good morning world.

29 Chinese nationals forming majority in crypto scam group in Nigeria. 😱 Does that mean they find it safer here to pull their tricks?🤔

Working as a mobile app developer has always been my dream. After years of trying to land a gig as a frontend mobile app developer, I finally got the opportunity to work with a team that needed someone to translate Figma designs into code. Working alongside another developer taught me the value of teamwork, and I learned a lot from their approach. My persistence paid off, although it wasn’t a high-paying job, But the fact that I was able to showcase my skills as a self-taught developer made my happy, and together, we successfully brought the design to life without any issues.
The attached video below is the area I worked on.
I’m available to work or contribute to an existing project too!
Grateful for another year of growth and new adventures. Excited for what's to come! 🎉
Happy birthday to me!

Technology is growing fast and making our lives better every year. But there’s something to worry about: the easier life gets with technology, the more likely it is that people could lose their jobs to machines (robots) soon.
Why do I think this?
Let me tell you what happened to me today. There was a power outage, so I couldn’t keep working on my tasks. I started scrolling through TikTok on my phone just to get myself engaged and saw a video showing drones delivering orders in China 🇨🇳. It made me stop and think, what about the people who depend on delivery jobs to make a living? If companies start using drones and AI to deliver things, those workers could lose their jobs to machines.
This made me wonder about the future of work. AI is changing many industries by taking over routine or heavy-data tasks, while people will need to focus more on creative and people-centered work. As AI keeps growing, learning new skills and working with these technologies will be important for many jobs.
Isn’t this something worth thinking about? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments!

285 days into 2024, it could become the longest period of little price movement after a Bitcoin halving. To avoid this, a bull run needs to begin in the next 14 days.

A memorable moment! A few months ago, I had the chance to introduce students at my school to Bitcoin. On that day, some were interested and ready to listen, while others said, "I'm not interested." But the group in the picture were open to learning, so I took my time to explain how Bitcoin works, based on my own experience. They liked what they heard and decided to give it a try. I helped them download a wallet and go through the process, and they made their first Bitcoin purchase that day. Although it wasn’t much, it was a start. Now, they’re also spreading the word about Bitcoin in their community.
All thanks to
@Street Cyber for giving the opportunity to use his art.

It is possible for someone in Nigeria with valuable skills to earn more than the minimum wage while working from home and getting paid in satoshis (sats). Here’s how:
People with skills in areas like:
- Programming and Software Development
- Content Writing
- Digital Marketing
- Graphic Design
- Customer Support
can find better-paying jobs with crypto-related companies, many of which pay in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
The minimum wage in Nigeria is ₦30,000 (about $18.50 USD) per month, though the government has approved an increase, but it hasn’t started paying the new rate yet. However, it’s clear that someone with these skills can easily earn more than the minimum wage in just a few hours of work, let alone in a month.
Another benefit of working from home and getting paid in Bitcoin is the high exchange rate of BTC to NGN. This means freelancers can make even more money, despite Bitcoin’s price fluctuations.

Nigeria stands out as one of the top countries gaining more from bitcoin despite the volatility of our national currency (NGN). Our high adoption rate of bitcoin has helped us to benefit from Bitcoin price surges. As Bitcoin's value dips globally, hodlers in Nigeria leverage their NGN to purchase or Hodl Bitcoin, translating to greater gains when the price surges. Despite regulatory challenges and government restrictions on crypto transactions within the traditional banking system, peer-to-peer (P2P) trading platforms remain highly active, allowing Nigerians to continue benefiting from Bitcoin price fluctuations.
They do say money is not everything, but right now everything needs money!
Looking back, Bitcoin adoption in Nigeria was slow at first because, as Nigerians, we like to take our time to understand any investment before jumping in. But by 2017, Bitcoin started gaining attention, even though the Central Bank of Nigeria told banks to stay away from it. However, we citizens didn’t stop using it. The Nigerian government then claimed that Bitcoin was being used for money laundering, and for this and other reasons, they banned it for the first time. This caused exchanges like Binance to remove the naira from their platforms, throwing Nigerian investors into confusion. But as always, we found a way around it.
After a while, the ban was lifted, but not long after, another issue came up. The government blamed Bitcoin for the naira losing its value, which honestly doesn’t make sense to me. As of now, many popular exchanges have stopped supporting NGN trading and even paused NGN P2P trading. Thankfully, some other exchanges stepped in to help.
HODLing feels like...
Me in 2017: I can’t wait to cash out when Bitcoin hits $10k!
Me in 2024: $100k is nothing. I’ll wait for $1M.
