“Inflation” is not what the Fed tells you it is. Inflation is simply the increase in new Fiat currency within the system. For the US, it’s the M2 monetary supply. That’s the best metric for actual inflation.

On a recent #Bitcoin podcast a person I respect (but cannot recall exactly who due to podcast overload this week) made an analogy of Bitcoin’s network adoption to that of the Internet. He said that current Bitcoin adoption is comparable to the Internet in 1989. I strongly disagree. It’s much more comparable to Internet adoption in 1990.

I’ve been waiting to make this post for some time now, not so much because of the new ATH but because this song is great. Thanks for @Lyn Alden for turning me on to this band. #bitcoin
