"You do not suffer on account of the external world, but on account of that which you construct within your own mind.β
Life is not always gentle, yet neither is it as cruel as the mind often imagines. The root of suffering lies not chiefly in what occurs outwardly, but in the way one perceives, interprets, and clings to it inwardly.
The world outside is impersonal and indifferent; it is the mind whose memory outlasts the moment and whose imagination magnifies beyond the actual, that truly binds one in chains.
Most often, pain does not arise from the event itself, but from the endless replays and elaborations one weaves afterward in thought. A fleeting glance becomes rejection; a casual word turns into a deep wound. When the mind is not illuminated by clear seeing (vipassanΔ), it enlarges shadows into mountains greater than the sorrow itself.
Yet right within this very agitated heart is the place where freedom can be planted. By pausing, by simply observing, one comes to know: feelings are visitors, not masters. They arise, abide for a time, and pass away. It is oneβs own choice to hold on or to release.
When one lets go of these self-made illusions, the truth reveals itself: life is imperfect, yet it remains beautiful when there is no demand that it be otherwise.
The Blessed One taught:
βWhen the mind is not attached to anything, therein lies liberation.β
Sometimes, a single deep breath is enough looking at things just as they are, without the coloring of fear or hurt and the heart grows lighter. And when the heart becomes light, the world, too, appears gentler.
In truth, it is not the world that makes you suffer.
It is you yourself not yet having sufficient mettΔ (loving-kindness) toward your own being to forgive the past, to place trust in the present moment, and to abide in quiet hope for what is yet to come. βοΈβοΈ
May this reflection bring calm and insight.

We're all here for love, there's no other reason for existence. Ultimately its about the purity of our heart. Love is our essence, its our heartbeat and its our home π
I cant find the English version but this is a beautiful family movie and you will still enjoy with subtitles, even better if you want to learn some Spanish!
For me this was the best talk, I hope future conferences have more philosophers, mystics, poets, gurus, astrologers, and even quantum physicists. More enlightenment and expansion with deeper meaning to contemplate please πβ¨
What if we got it all wrong, what if its not about how much we get and instead its about what we give. What a cosmic joke that would be. Maybe when we step out of the comfortable prison cell of worldy desires life teaches us this. Maybe to be low time preference we should think about the next life and the younger generations..The heart that gives is always full πβ¨
