June Bitcoin meetup ✅ Conversations, debate and playing devil's advocate. One of the most rewarding things about running a meetup is when community members get involved. Looking forward to next month.

Bitcoin meetup this Saturday the 24th of June at the earlier time of 12pm! I'm excited, are you excited? What to expect? 👇🏻 We like to start each meetup with a game. This month it will be 'Self custody pass the parcel' Prizes are courtesy of @coincorner & @mtsocks Prizes enroute! Let's hope they get here by Saturday! Followed by a general chit chat about some interesting Bitcoin news that happened recently. A brief overview of what Bitcoin is. Beginner questions welcome. Then we will be moving onto our topic of the day, Privacy! We will cover; Buying, storing and verifying your own transaction. Running a pruned node, sending a transaction. Next we have our very knowledgeable community member @91xTx93 giving a presentation on what is; The mempool RBF (Replace by Fee) & CPFP (Child pays for parent) These tools/features help effectively transact with Bitcoin. Choose the right fee and speeding up transactions. And last but not least fan favourite @calmhodl returning to define some basic technical terms and give us a beginners overview of privacy tools like; Whirlpool, stonewall, stonewall X2, stowaway and ricochet.
