Tradfi Financial advisor friend at Merrill said effective Jan 1 ‘26 they’re completely dropping client net worth qualifications for Bitcoin ETF exposure from $1MM to zero and they are now recommending 1-3% allocation.
Original client qualifications was $10MM just 12 months ago . . .
Paid a vendor in on chain bitcoin because debit card fraud prevention was bouncing my transaction.
Happened twice and all I said on the call was, “We wouldn’t have this problem if I were paying you in Bitcoin.”

I’ll be able to find all the square merchants in my town a lot faster if I don’t have to visit all of them 😉
Make sure when you ask a merchant (politely) if they accept bitcoin, the correct way to ask is in a very confused voice, “Y’all don’t accept bitcoin yet? You can do it from Square.”
