GM. Today I learned that 469 of the 1500 parking meters in Anchorage were stolen or destroyed so far this year. People can get up $30 worth of quarters by wrecking a $1000 machine.

I picked up my wife's car from the shop yesterday after a brake job and a tranny flush. The nice young man said everything looks good, here's your total, do you want a reciept? I paid and shoved the paperwork in my pocket. When I got home, I looked it over and there is a note. Rear coil spring broken. Dude failed to mention that. He let me drive it home in a semi-unsafe condition and missed an opportunity to sell me shocks, struts and coils. smh
