Gm and PV ☀️ It blows my mind that in 2023, with no more mandatory rules about covid, people are still getting tested. It's a cold bro, don't sweat it. Some people simply need to be enslaved because it gives them purpose and structure. I fear there is no redemption for people with this mindset. There won't be any bitcoin to free them, no nostr to uncensor them, no sovereignty to govern themselves. Just the governmental tit to suck on and the hope that the next electoral wave brings enough welfare to trick them into thinking they are living better than the previous political era, despite paying double the amount of taxes. Not a rant, just a train of thought.

I used to navigate in my phone with gestures and it was cool af. But these gestures, especially swiping from the side often interacted with other apps (like accidentally archiving chats on telegram or deleting relays on Plebstr). Back to the three buttons system I guess 🫤

Quenching in oil, how to? image Hey guys, I think I fell into the tool making rabbit hole. Since I don't really want to spend 100+ euros and since it's not a common tool to find in thrift shops in my country, I have half of an idea of making myself a router plane with scraps of wood and an old file/chisel and a couple of hand screws. I plan to bend the iron flat and parallel to the surface of the wood I'd be cutting so I would have a 30° bevel in order to attack with a nice angle the wood from any direction. But since bending will likely require making the iron red hot, I believe hardening it back again is a must. Therefore I searched a bit and I found that quenching is a crucial step into tool making. Lots of expert people do it with vegetable oil, but they never specify which one. Do you guys have any experience?
