If after a longer period if this practice hasnt worked i think the person should consult a professional as in a therapist in this instance i would think group therapy would help the person understand that shes a part of a homogeneous mass of human consciousness that has manifested in different versions of humans.

Often times mental illness can be cured by talking to new ppl and strangers.. to understand yourself as something else but your relatives and ppls numbers that are in your phone. ✌️
