People don't seem to know that blockchain is an old technology that substantially predates bitcoin. Blockchain alone isn't novel.
Rather, bitcoin's unique properties emerge from the combination of (1) blockchain + (2) proof of work + (3) the difficult adjustment.
Okay I'm sorry but I don't like this aspect of Primal at all. With Amethyst I can zap y'all with whatever wallet I'm using (usually Phoenix).
Requiring a name and DOB to send magic Internet money is antithetical to freedom tech.
The provision "allows the authorities to place people under house arrest out of 'fear' they could, at some point in the future, commit a 'hate crime.'"
Just installed Primal on Android. It is so nice seeing notes in non-chronological order.
Only issue is that just as with Amethyst, Primal doesn't seem to play nice with the Graphene OS default keyboard. And there doesn't seem to be an easy way to tag people in notes.
What's the best hardware wallet (i.e., signing device) for a newbie?
I don't know of any device besides COLDCARD that doesn't make you install specific software to use it.
USA is a fucking banana republic. Blaze Media Investigative Journalist Steve Baker has been taken into FBI custody, allegedly for his J6 reporting.
Baker previously said he didn’t know what the charges were against him but was told they were non-violent misdemeanors.
“The prosecutor informed my attorney that I am to arrive at the FBI field office wearing ‘shorts and sandals,'” Baker said.
“They didn’t have to go this route, as we’ve been told that my charges are non-violent misdemeanors.”
“They seem to feel the need to give me a dose of the personal humiliation treatment.”
Baker was reportedly present at the J6 riot as an independent journalist.
