What does it matter
I have said for many many years that I always thought pilate was far more righteous than the jews, even long before my JQ pill.
This makes it all the more real. Even fucking pilate who had no interest in Yahweh knew Jesus was innocent and sought to free Him. Even Pilate who out of everyone had the least amount of care or gain as to whether Jesus survived or died tried to do what was actually right.
But the jews, legitimate or otherwise, who knew scripture like the back of their hands knew what they were doing and did it anyway.
