What a glorious day.

At the end of today I will not have had any alcohol. 28 days is standard for forming new habits and getting rid of old habits. I figure I can hit 4 goals within 10 days with this: 1. 28 days no alcohol 2. One full month (June) no alcohol 3. 33 days (because it’s the magic number) no alcohol 4. 40 days and 40 nights no alcohol (because it would be “biblical” so why not?) Here’s to new habits.

$33/lb Granted it’s from a superior local butcher in Durango Colorado but holy shit!

I couldn’t control the #58KGang today but I did plant a tree. I had to replace the 8 year old spruce that was planted too deep and suddenly died this spring. And now it’s raining so it was perfect timing. That’s about 75 lbs of dried spruce needles and pine cone litter and husks in that donut. It’ll keep the ground from freezing and the soil microbiology active.
