Granted it’s from a superior local butcher in Durango Colorado but holy shit!
I couldn’t control the #58KGang today but I did plant a tree.
I had to replace the 8 year old spruce that was planted too deep and suddenly died this spring.
And now it’s raining so it was perfect timing.
That’s about 75 lbs of dried spruce needles and pine cone litter and husks in that donut. It’ll keep the ground from freezing and the soil microbiology active.
