I might write a new book called “Bitcoin Dad, Fiat Dad” a modernized version of Robert Kiyosaki “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” book. What do you think?

Are there any times in history that experienced civil unrest when economic and political conditions were similar to what they are today? When I have conversations with those in their 70s, they say they have never seen the world as fucked up as it is right now and am curious if information just didn’t travel as fast, or are we truly experiencing a 4th turning. If we are, what are you doing to prepare aside from adopting a Bitcoin standard? Thoughts?
How to you inform someone about the importance of Bitcoin without sounding like the world is going to collapse?
Pricing goods and services in Bitcoin might be one of the most overlooked and important things to understand about money. When you measure things using a currency that losing value, your gains aren’t what you think they are.

Since everyone is ditching Twitter for NOSTR, do you think all the SPAM bots will start saying “Zap me later” with a link to Telegram instead of “Thank me later” on Twitter? #[0]
What app is everyone using to create all these cool art posts I’m seeing?
Just received an email from Bittrex that they are ceasing operations in the US. (I used them once) Also saw Luke Gromen post that his local bank is not allowing on/off-ramp for exchanges. There are only a few banks left standing that provide these services. Things could get interesting real quick.
Anyone run into a problem running Electrs on Umbrel? It occasionally gets stuck on “Waiting for Bitcoin Node to finish syncing...” Restarting Electrs brings it back to 100% synced; however, when I try to query an address using Mempool, Electrs goes back to waiting to finish syncing. Thoughts?
Is it weird that I find joy listening to symphony orchestra mix on Spotify while watching new Bitcoin blocks being born on my Bitcoin node using Mempool? If not, I think we just became best friends.
Is it possible to use NOSTR to communicate privately with others in the world without depending on 3rd party messaging apps infrastructure or censorship (like Twitter, iMessage etc) in the event of a terrestrial outage or natural disaster taking out local internet and power or just access in general?
For example, can I host my own private relay using IP instead of DNS that only authorized NOSTR users can connect to that’s privately hosted using backup generated power and Starlink internet?
I’m looking to sponsor a hole for a youth hockey golf tournament with a “Bitcoin - Be your own bank” sign to help raise awareness. Cost is $125 for the sponsorship (not including the sign which I will cover). If anyone is open to helping out, here is the full invoice or just Zap whatever you can contribute. Will post the final sign when the hole is sponsored. Thanks everyone!

It’s all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.
Chancellor on Brink of Second Bailout for Banks - 1/3/2009
You buy insurance for you home.
Insurance for your car.
Insurance for your life.
Insurance for your pet.
But you won’t buy insurance for a collapse of fiat currencies using Bitcoin or Gold.
Got it.
Anyone have a recommendation for crypto tax software? I’ve been using TaxBit and have had a terrible experience with their platform for 2 years. Whatever batch jobs run for their tax engine around tax season completely changes the gain/loss expectations from what was shown throughout the year.
I don’t know if I could have done what Satoshi Nakamoto did for humanity. Satoshi genuinely wanted to help fix a huge problem that existed in the world, and dedicated time to create a solution that could. Satoshi didn’t want any of the credit, fame, or money for doing so and just walked away.
We can all learn from Satoshi. If we want to make ourselves, our home, our community, or the world in general a better place, we can’t wait for someone else to fix it for us. The change starts with us. When we help ourselves or help others, do so with good intentions instead of looking for recognition, fame, or money for our accomplishments.
Thank you Satoshi. 🙏
