Jesus teaches love and grace, urging forgiveness (Luke 7:47-48). YHWH (Yahweh) demands fear and obedience, with death for disobedience (Deut 28:58-63). Question is, who are you following? The two aren’t the same.

Remember that time when Moses had to convince YHWH not to destroy Israel and break his promise? YHWH said to me [Moses], ‘I have seen this people [Israel], and behold, it is a stubborn people. Let me alone, that I may destroy them - Dt 9:13–14

"One does not argue with Gnostics. One exterminates them... The only cure is to purge." Why are some Christians so quick to request death on someone rather than engaging in a conversation? Does this represent Jesus?image

This is a great book, recommend it; The Enigma about Divine Love and the Creation of Evil "Many early Christians were able to see that Abba, the Heavenly Father of Jesus, actually bore little resemblance to Israel’s fearsome God."image

For the record I do not believe any book/or set of books are infallible. But that doesn’t mean we throw them all out—we don’t have to be like the church fathers. Follow Jesus (Iēsous) and ask Holy Spirit to come and help you—that is His job according to Jesus! Trust in Him.

Did Jesus write teachings on papyrus? No, they were oral and remained so for decades. He promised the Holy Spirit to guide us: “The Helper… will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said” (Jn 14:26).

We should approach all scripture with reverence, but know it’s not infallible—Jesus (Iēsous) is the Word, not the canon. Rely on the Holy Spirit to discern truth across sources and translations, using the Evangelion as a guide to navigate potential Judaized distortions.

The claim that later New Testament (NT) texts were “Judaized” to link Jesus to the Hebrew Bible/Torah relies on Marcion’s first NT, consisting of the Evangelion (Gospel of the Lord), predates the canonical Luke and was not a redaction. Scholars like Dr. Markus Vinzent and Dr. Mark G. Bilby argue this scientifically. Key examples, like the virgin birth (Lk 2:49) and temple references (Lk 19:46), are absent in the Evangelion, suggesting they were added to connect Jesus to the Torah. In the Evangelion, Jesus simply descends to Capernaum (Evangelion 1.1, cf. Lk 3:1), with no prior narrative tying him to Jewish tradition. Similarly, events in Lk 19:29-48 (e.g., riding a colt, cleansing the temple) are missing in Evangelion 15.2, which only describes Jesus teaching in the temple. These additions are seen as attempts to align Jesus with YHWH, despite Jesus never equating YHWH with his Father. The contrasting behaviors of YHWH and the Father presented by Jesus highlight this disconnect, as noted by Marcion and pre-Nicene perspectives. Jesus’ instruction to judge by fruit suggests his Father differs from YHWH.

Orthodoxy bros try to turn Jesus into a YHWH-style wrath/war machine, but He's about love and forgiveness. Painting the Prince of Peace as a warlord is like dressing a dove as a vulture or Jesus operating a mech—it's ridiculous.image

Jesus commands, "Let not the sun go down on your wrath," urging us to resolve anger quickly and live in peace. This teaching emphasises Jesus' message of grace and reconciliation, distinct from the Hebrew Bible's punitive tone.

YHWH sends evil spirits... In 1 Samuel 16:14-23, 18:10, and 19:9, an evil spirit from YHWH torments Saul, causing distress and violence. In 1 Kings 22:19-23 and 2 Chronicles 18:18-22, YHWH allows a spirit to deceive Ahab’s prophets, leading to his defeat. In Job 1:6-12 and 2:1-7, YHWH permits Satan to afflict Job’s possessions and health to test him. Jesus expels them... In Mark 1:23-27, Jesus casts out an unclean spirit from a man in a synagogue, astonishing witnesses. In Mark 5:1-20, Jesus drives out a legion of demons from a man in Gerasene, sending them into pigs. In Matthew 8:28-34 and Luke 8:26-39, Jesus frees two demon-possessed men. In Luke 4:33-36, Jesus commands a demon to leave a man, and in Mark 9:14-29, he exorcises a spirit from a boy, restoring him. Jesus always expels evil spirits. Follow Jesus, he will set you free.

The deity of the Hebrew Bible (Yahweh) is inconsistent with the Father (God) revealed through Jesus. Yahweh is jealous, wrathful, and incompatible with Jesus' teachings.image

Too many people speak before listening and understanding. They go in with preconceived ideas and assumptions that they’re already right and you’re wrong before even knowing what the other side is saying. It’s a sign you’re dealing with someone irrational.

YHWH/YHVH (Yahweh/Yehovah) said he has blinded humanity (Is 6:9-10), and therefore, is the ‘god of this age/world’ (2 Cor 4:4) and the ‘prince of the power of the air.’ (Eph 2:2). Listen to Jesus (Iēsous) when he told the Pharisees that their Father was the devil (Jn 8:44).

I find it somewhat amusing when I'm called a blasphemer when proclaiming that what Jesus said. You know Jesus was a proclaimed 'blasphemer' too, right? So, I think I'm in good company.
