Today was exhausting. It was a 22.89 km bike ride (with 176m of elevation and a scorching 29°C at 10:00 AM) followed by a core workout. I got home completely drained, running on fumes. With so many broken nights of sleep because of the heat, it's tough, but in the end, the effort always pays off. The body thanks you.

Life is an illusion we create through the way we perceive it. It flows endlessly, without beginning or end. We are eternal. When the body reaches the end of its cycle, it makes way for others. We simply move from this state into another form of consciousness.

Yesterday: 23.44km on the bike, an hour of physical training in the studio, and an afternoon at the beach just watching, being still. New ideas showed up in that quiet, the kind that only come when you stop chasing them. 🌊

I want to share something that's slowly been changing my routines and habits. In May this year, I decided to swap the car for the bike on my trips to Portimão for physical training, about 25km each way. Alongside my Qigong practice, I decided to also strengthen my body with physical and muscular exercise. Whenever I can, I trade the car for the bike, partly because of rising fuel prices. It's becoming a healthy habit, and my cardiovascular and lung endurance have improved a lot. In May I logged 7 hours and 112km, in June 7 hours and 89km, and in July 16 hours and 152km, plus two 5km walks with my dog. August has started, the heat is picking up, so I'll cycle less this month. Today I feel in better shape, and I hope to keep this going. It all adds up to more health, more life. #qigong #wellness #algarve

New teaching season starting soon: October 19th to June 18th, 2027. 10 hours a week just for my 65+ Qigong classes in Albufeira, plus my other classes, massages, and somehow still finding time for my own practice and training. 😅 Going to be a full year.
