We've been quietly working on version 1.7.0 for a while now. Things we want. - People to create Run Clubs in the app. A club page with chat and leaderboard and captain created events. - RUNSTR to work in the background. Allowing you to workout with other fitness apps/ wearables while receive RUNSTR rewards and competing in events without opening the app. - Rewards to go where you want. Micro donations to charity, bitcoin rewards sent to your lightning wallet, sats sent to top up your AI credits. Hopefully this year, we can get the app to the point where people interact with the RUNSTR as a utility app like amber or citrine. The activity tracker in the app will be optional. Imagine working out with strava and after your run, you get a runstr notification saying the beef initiative sent you 50 sats for your run. Or imagine walking the dog and getting a notification on your apple watch from runstr saying cash app just sent you 50 sats for reaching 5k steps. Or imagine getting a notification that you've been put into a Sunday 5k competition....you run a 5k with nike run club and once finished you get a notification telling you your standings and giving you rewards sent to whichever place you value (Your wallet/Community/AI agent). Connect your wearable to RUNSTR so that you don't have to workout with your phone. Sync workouts into the app so that they can go into virtual competitions and earn daily bitcoin rewards. Works with garmin/apple watch/any app or wearable that uses health connect on android or apple health on IOS Its in settings.
