I think this is Pomp's way of saying "buy MOAR!"
🤷♂️
Or, maybe a nothingburger?

GM. It is block 884857 on the timechain.
The #Bitcoin network is core to the identity and value proposition of #bitcoin (the money). These two properties of value are necessarily correlated and intertwined to make #bitcoin more valuable than any other digital asset.
The money is valuable because of the network. The network is valuable because of the money. It's why it can't be copied/duplicated/replaced with another.
To separate bitcoin (the money) from Bitcoin (the network) is nearly analogous to attempt to separate hydrogen from oxygen and still retain water. Water is valuable _because_ of the binding of two parts hydrogen to one part oxygen. (Obviously, hydrogen and oxygen are valuable in their own right, so the analogy breaks down for the more pedantic among us.)
GM, it's block 884732.

I have a sneaky suspicion that any books published these days probably have had some sort of AI assistance. It's rather disheartening.
What's it called when I no longer think of "buying bitcoin", but now think "selling dollars"? Is this some weird form of autism?
(Thanks @jack mallers for educating about "getting on zero" with @strike)
I'm becoming more convinced that the best number to watch in Bitcoin is the hashrate, rather than the price in US dollars.

The irrationality of humans is what maintains our edge over artificial intelligence. Non-determinism can be infuriating, but counterintuitively, can bring order to chaos & entropy.

AI is all the rage. Look deeper. An AI economy and permissionless payment systems will be what shifts things into the next gear.
Imagine a world where an AI needs to pay another AI, and follow how this might happen.
There will exist a need for AI to exchange value (information) with other AI's (and humans). The technology exists now to accommodate this.
Take a look at Nostr/zaps, and layer 2 tech like Liquid, Lightning, and apply this to AI....and follow the incentives.
Digital scarcity will be the unlock that will unleash the next wave of AI into our world.
The word "confiscatable" is in the dictionary, and means "Taken without permission or consent, especially by or as if by a public authority."
However its inverse (unconfiscatable) is not found in any dictionary I can find.
I believe this is because the idea of owning unconfiscatable property is the big idea that has rapidly arrived to mankind.
This is what drew me to #bitcoin a few years ago.
Owning #bitcoin however, is actually a misnomer. When one owns Bitcoin, one simply knows the 12/24 BIP39 seed words in order that gives them permission to make transactions to unlock value on the public timechain.
This is borderless sovereignty that is true freedom to lock life energy into digital scarcity. Future generations can reap what their ancestors are sowing now.
Always use an air-gapped signing device with seed in a brain wallet, also steel in a safe place. Never connect your seed phrase to the internet.
If you know, you know.
#BIP39 for the win.
Hold opinions lightly; principles tightly. Know the difference between the two.
The eternal debate.... Do I do what I think it wants? Or do I remain a purist?
