I just watched a farmer and his son at a bar for happy hour on a Wednesday cheering on Nvidia earnings on CNBC. Explaining that no one expected the stock split and dividend raise, and that he had some dry powder if it dropped anyway. If it doesn’t trade $1,000 tomorrow he’d be shocked. Well, it was clear skies up to $71k from last week's report. Now it's decision time though - I'm still not convinced we're ready for true price discovery. I wouldn't mind us chop around in this big range from ~$60k to ~$70k, yet we all know #bitcoin beats to the beat of its own drum and it really doesn't matter what any of us wants. All other metrics seemed to tick slightly lower last week yet not much to note outside of full node count taking a big hit. I honestly think it's just based off when I pull that number but we will take a look next week at this. My routing activity continues to bounce all around, actually up quite a bit week over week. I've been really winding it down and taking some capital out lately w/ the run up in price. The risk just isn't worth the reward to me anymore. We're back for # 43! Quite a bit of change this past week in the network, all good things from what I can see! Full nodes did indeed bounce back after the big drop last week. Probably some error in the data / timing of when I grabbed the number last week but we're continuing the trend higher and on our way to 20k! Probably a bit of a meaningless stat because I know we can't see all the nodes on the network but I still love following the trend, especially while it's trending up. The more people running the protocol, the better. We actually saw a big shift in LN activity from trend - With increases in both node count and capacity for the first time since I can remember. Will pay close attention to see if we can follow through at all in the coming weeks to break the continued downward trends in LN nodes and BTC capacity on the LN. Address counts all trend up, hashrate up, price down. Price/hashrate at lows we haven't seen in quite some time - Time for some smash buys?
