our land sits in a strangely shaped valley. most high winds stay 60ft off the ground. occasional gusts reach us, but the storm winds havent. i sat outside last night and listened to the wind raging through the top of the trees, heard trees fall over, then car alarms, and saw the blue light flashes of exploding transformers in the distance. i just sat in peace drinking coffee. this morning, i saw this on the path. blown in from the top of some far away tree, as we have no pines on the property. It feels meaningful. Just haven’t deciphered the message yet. other than i am thankful.
