ive been thinking about the phrase in the bible, “and because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold.”
when people dont have a shared set of general rules that they operate and interact by, they are always on guard. Add amorality to this, and you get a population that doesnt trust anyone.
side note, once the connections of openness,
love, and a shared culture disappear, people “de-unify” and are much more easily controlled.
other side note:
though this was not the point, the people behind “open borders” understand this

from where i am sitting it looks like Israel and the Neocons convinced Trump that Iran could be easily defeated.
Then, receiving targeting information from the Israelis for initial strikes, they had us bomb a school where high ranking Iranian military leaders sent their children. Twice.
now, Israel is targeting the remaining moderate leaders in Iran for assassination, trying to end any possibility that the US will be able to exit war.
we should rethink our relationships.

wait a second…
are you suggesting the US State Department is lying to the American people?!?
twitter appears to be a place where people engage over current affairs.
but i think that’s a veneer. i thinks it’s actually an ever tightening spiral of shallow, reactionary, self defeating thinking, incentivized to produce less and less nuanced thought.
i dont mean to alarm you, but its possible establishment media institutions are not always honest.
its weird that health is centered in food, sleep, activity, relationships, and environment, yet our “health care system” is centered in pharmaceutical drugs and scalpels.
