when you have a personal experience that counters what people believe, the normal ones will shrug their sounders and live their lives. but the dweebo-dorks among them will insist you didn’t have the experience to protect what they believe. they are self identifying as people you don’t want in your life.

my wife moved her mother to an assisted living facility today. there was a large group of friends and family coming to help. the night before, she broke everything that needed to be done into individual tasks and wrote them each on sticky notes. then placed all the sticky notes spread out on a table, and told everyone they could look for one that they would like to so, and have at it. the move took 2 1/2 hours, was low stress, and ran like clockwork. she impresses me.

i was thinking about what bothers me about the Berkeley Blue Hairs. And what i realized is that its the hate and vitriol that seems common. what i mean is this: if someone said to me, “i dont like how the majority of the wealth in this country concentrates in areas that are predominantly of european decent, so i look for small business in other areas, and frequent those.” , i can actually respect that. if you have a conviction like that, and take personal action to change momentum, i have nothing but respect for that, and it really doesn’t matter if i personally feel the same way, or not. its not about me. but when that conviction leads someone to call everyone nazi white supremacist, and makes you violent l, i have no respect for you at all, because you are not an agent of change, you are just an agent of hate in the world. you are not a freedom fighter, youre just a spreader of evil, and i want nothing to do with you because your heart is corrupted. the distinction between people who take personal action based on conviction, and people who spread, hate, division and envy is massive, and the later only bring destruction. the trick is, because they are seeding hate energy into the universe, there is a hate momentum around them, and it takes conscious effort not to get pulled into it. have to choose a better path.

i was at a stop light, and i saw a middle aged woman drive by with blue hair… you know the kind….’coexist’ bumper sticker kind of thing. i felt a wave of judgement and dislike come out of me. which then pissed me off. i dont know a single thing about her. ive never talked to her, ive never met anyone who knows her, and yet im condemning some woman i dont know based on 1/2 of a second. Fuck that. I dont feel like letting social media political theater trends define my world view.

i have some very bad news for anyone who is interested in Framework laptops. Apparently, we cant use them anymore because they contain Hitler particles. No its true. The spokesperson for the Gnome desktop says so. I know many of you wanted to use a modular, repairable laptop, but exposure to the Hitler cooties inside it is too great a risk to take. Think of the children.
