There is a kind of cultural Marxism in Americans now that makes it almost impossible for them to understand the overall benefit of bitcoin. It’s the contented slave mentality that makes them fear the world of excellence. They don’t hate capitalism, they hate the exceptional. everyone has been conditioned to strive for a comfortable existence within the allotted parameters of “success”. A big house, three cars, a comfortable retirement and that’s it. If you strive for more you’re being greedy and run the risk of moving into a tax bracket that labels you an enemy of the common man. everyone is allowed only as much success as their upper middle class neighbors. One boat but certainly not two, two weeks in Europe each year but a summer is for the elite, business class always but first class is just excessive. The idea of building something greater than just enough for now for most people is an offensive concept that almost instantly sends them into a defensive state of anger. A slave will never leave his master when he thinks he’s better off than the freeman. The fiat hold on modern man is truly something to behold. Perhaps it’s different in other western cultures but the current American is not open to hearing about living a better life with bitcoin.

Everybody wants Bitcoin to bring about a new age of some kind. Some want to go back to farming communities while some want a futuristic utopia. If I get to pick I want to redo the gilded age. The new money of Bitcoin building an economy that uplifts the world around it while laying a foundation of wealth and prosperity for generations to come. Bitcoin to me is generational wealth that builds a family line to last. Western society has lost the plot of the human experience but when we look just a few hundred years to the past we can see how focused they were on building for not only themselves but for the future. I don’t want the modern disposable houses of fiat. I want the houses made of stone and marble meant to be passed down to my descendants. I want that in every area of life. beautiful infrastructure, architecture, fashion and art. The culture can be elevated when the limitations of a fiat mindset are removed. it can all be made beautiful again. I’m ready for a new gilded age. #bitcoin #nostr #damus
