Forgive the grammar, but I’m finally speaking my mind for once- Modern Day School: —————————— It doesn’t make you smarter for your own good, it makes you more valuable to the system - follow the rules, stay in line, do as you’re told, and you should pass. When did they ever make self education outcasted and looked down upon for not having a curriculum? If your not paying a teacher for education they say you’re on the path to failure… When I was 18 and entered college, I was really ecstatic to learn about ‘marketing’. I got into school and soon learned that I had to take pre-calculus math, history, English, art, and other extra curricular before you got into real business school for ‘marketing’. As a junior I sat in a business class and looked around, everyone was wanting to be hired by someone, no one wanted to run their own business not even the damn professors. Can you hear the irony? Business school and no one is running a business or seeking to. I had learned so much before from just YouTube. You can find anything you want to learn online, free, you just have to be willing to learn for your self, stay disciplined, and practice what you’ve tested yourself on. I looked around at a room of dull, close minded people just staying in line. Half of them or more were there for a social life not education. So I thought to myself this is who I’m competing against? People willing to give up a night of getting ahead for a night of partying and drinking, cheating your way through, and following the heard. No one really thought for themselves, I saw first hand when working on a group class project. If they’re not handed directions or a rubric they are lost. I’m following the heard just like everyone else, I don’t wanna be here, I don’t want to spend tens of thousands on a degree that wouldn’t even want to use. Instead of the $16,000 on student loans that have returned a net $0 for me only taking more in interest for a decision I made at 18. I spent $10,000 on a mower in 2020, 0% interest. - I’ve made hundreds of thousands off that one mower. All the answers were in-front of me I had just been so brainwashed into “going to college”. It was time I dropped out and doubled down on the business I was already running since I was 16. All the time and money I would’ve spent on college instead went into my business and it grew exponentially. In 5 years I’ve learned more than a lifetime of school could’ve ever have taught me if they could’ve even kept my focus. Learning is fun and feels productive. But nothing you learn matters unless you practice it and then put it to the test. Everyone thinks they could do it if they wanted to but only few ever actually try. It’s a protection of your ego. Until you actually do it, get results or data, you HAVE NOT moved the needle. Moving the needle is physical action, not thoughts or plans.

I’ve looked the devil in the face, and I smiled back at ‘em 😈
