Quick question. I have been pronouncing #Nostr like this: ‘noss-ter’. I recently noticed a lot of people say ‘know-ster’. Is this just a regional thing or is that correct? I’ve also heard it as ‘naw-ster’ so maybe we can say it however we want. Maybe that’s the point. #asknostr

Anyone out there using #StartOS for their #bitcoin node? I’ve nearly finished syncing the chain and was wondering if anyone had tips for services I should use. I went for a less user-friendly approach last time I set up a node and it didn’t go so well for me. That’s why I thought I’d give Start9 a try. I’m looking to set up a #Lightning wallet and want to link my #Bitaxe for #mining, as well as set up a #relay. Any legit help gets a #zap and - screw it - I’ll probably zap you anyway. GM. It works! Built my subwoofer server and have #bitcoin core running and syncing. Once I put the front grill back on and put it in a corner, no-one will even realise what it is. Hi. I’m setting up a #bitcoin node using old PC parts and putting them into a dead home cinema subwoofer. It’s made of MDF and was wondering if anyone had experience with wooden cases and the potential pitfalls. Do I need to keep the components far away from the wood or would half an inch be fine? I know I could buy a cheap case but thought it might be cool to recycle old stuff. I realise the PSU is much more powerful than I need but it was lying around and I’m hoping it will only use the power it needs.
