Each and every entity running a Bitcoin node is holding the entire bitcoin supply collectively. 😱🤯 I hear the phrase that you can't hold bitcoin in your hand. And for the most part that's accurate. I love this discussion because this is the perfect time and place to discuss that most of the assets in the world are bound by the physical constraints/risks. When natural disasters hit, those assets can be destroyed or damaged. But because we all hold bitcoin collectively and distributed throughout the world, most natural disasters cannot affect the resiliency and the redundancy of the distributed bitcoin network. Bitcoin is the first and currently the only digital asset that will stand the test of time and survive the entropy of the physical world.
