The value of money here, is not awkward to the people here, as it is easy to use, and hard to make. It doesn’t help that the US dollar is so badly contrasted to theirs. View quoted note →
Only the children can learn in school that English isn’t violence. Stealing, and crime, are not the ways to survive, and get back at the world. To value nature, and conserve it, especially in the deserts. Fire resistant, and water smart trees, with deeper roots, help. Most of the north, bordering USA, has shallow rooted trees that don’t reach the constant flooded grounds, and dry up as soon as the heat comes. You’d think the saguaro is pointing to that, though shallow rooted, biologists know it’s secret is conserving water. Now, what of trees described above (that have deep roots, fire resistant, and self-propagate?) Then funds won’t be an issue… Just establish a few on both sides of the road, coinciding with the rain. Their “backwardness,” and sticking to their roots, helps them, but the attitude to “the white man,” to this day, and general attitude dims their view to life. They don’t see what resources, and blessings they have. View quoted note →
South Americans seem to be under a speed curse, as North Americans are being subjected to, with multiple roadside ads, and media. The only advantage South America has, is staying ancient, but education doesn’t necessarily mean a hedonistic approach, more like a ticking time-bomb, yet nature doesn’t care, it’s only that some things once kickstarted are impossible to stop. Children begging on the street is not right, and that’s why I’m very anxious how S.A. votes on June 2nd. To slow down a little bit, man!
