Is it just me, or is a disproportionate amount of the global feed in Japanese? No a complaint mind you, I'm just surprised and bias checking if Nostr has really become that popular in Japan.

I am noticing more and more users with no lightning address and only "on chain" options for tipping. I worry that the nostr economy is going to start to dry up unless a secure solution to lightning is figured out and/or alternate coins like XMR start getting more supported. Both fixes are not mutually exclusive btw.

So then I have to keep my kid away from rough neighborhoods and the internet while even low hanging fruit can't even be kept in jail, much less the complete END they actually deserve? I'm just so done with this constant cession of ground. We keep bubble wrapping everything instead of fixing problems for fear of "causing discord"? Why can't we have walkable cities and affordable public transit?
