At the moment, I've watched several "interviews" where Valve engineers were asked questions about Steam Machine + Steam Controller + Steam Frame (VR). And how nice it was to listen to engineers rather than marketers! 😌 I mean, it's really cool to hear people talking with fire in their eyes about how they created the products, why they chose this particular solutions, and other geeky stuff, instead of the nauseating nonsense from all the other companies, where one marketer after another comes out on stage and pretends to be an engineer, talking about how the new product will be improved because of AI and other marketing bullshit for the 124910240 time. I understand that Steam Machine will not be a devilish machine for AAA games on Ultra settings. This product has a different philosophy and purpose. I am a supporter of the free (as in freedom) market, and now I will have a chance to show the gaming market that it needs to pay attention to Linux as a gaming platform while Windows is quietly turning from the worst operating system into just a potato. I will buy all Steam devices not because they are the best, but because they embody a certain philosophy that I want to support with my money. And I want the gaming experience on Linux to be even better in the future than it is now. #Valve #Steam
