⛓️‍💥 Libertaria in Cyberspace On September 1, 1992, Tim May shared his essay "Libertaria in Cyberspace" in the Extropians mailing list. “The basic problem is that physical space is too small, too exposed to the view of others… Cyberspace looks more promising. There is more ‘space’ in cyberspace, thus allowing more security and more colonizable space.” image https://archive.bitcoin-calendar.org/archive/1756637991.437384/www.activism.net/cypherpunk/libertaria.html

Happy to share a massive Bitcoin Calendar update! 📱 PWA now available for both Android and iOS You can now save Bitcoin Calendar to your home screen and enjoy it just like a native app: • More screen real estate • Easy access from home screen • Offline mode • Upcoming app-specific improvements, like push notifications ⚡️ Event zaps A new #zap button is now available on every event header allowing you to zap an event in a few clicks. I also automated attached comments to reflect the zapped event title. Planning to track these to figure out which events are most interesting for the readers to research them deeper and provide more detailed info on the most zapped events. 👨‍💻 Bug fixes and optimization Did a major refactoring of the web app. It is now snappier and more respectful towards your devices' CPU and battery. Enjoy the app and let me know what you think.

👨‍🏫 Hal Finney's ZK Proofs Presentation On August 26, 1998, Hal Finney gave a presentation at the Crypto 98 conference titled "A zero-knowledge proof of possession of a pre-image of a SHA-1 hash." At the time, while theoretically known, zero-knowledge proofs were considered largely inefficient or impractical due to hardware limitations. Finney's presentation explored the practicality of these proofs. https://archive.bitcoin-calendar.org/archive/1748864268.537553/index.htmlsinglefile.html
