I am "graduating" from Headscale, the selfhosted Tailscale. Because where I venture, I need something *bigger*.
Moving to wg-easy with hub-spoke to go far beyond my current setup and swallow my whole home network in it, aand also part of my friends' and my parents' as two off-sites.
Basically:
my homelab -> vps
friends homelab -> vps
parents network -> vps
VPS acting as a, well, hub. x) Subnet routing on all the levels and whatnot, this'll be wild. x)

I spent way too much time going through all the KDE things i can install today... xD
Flatlined my win10 on my Razer Blade today and put CachyOS on it - and dude, the things that just worked this time around, are insane.
- Screen magnification was enabled by default
- Color inversion was bound by default, just had to enable it
- Installed flatpak, flatseal and Bazaar just fine
- Had to install xdg-portal stuff to get icons to show up; not a big problem, just wish this was a little more obvious
- Got Brave and all my usual defaults to work just fine.
- When it wasn't in the repos, it was on flatpak. Perfect.
My laptop is doing absolutely fine and well and this is reeeeeally nice. Just took me a moment to find Skanpage to scan stuff and I haven't figured out how to connect my network-attached printer (same unit, Epson XP-7100). I also had to modify /etc/fstab to get my NFS shares to work using `noauto`. A little annoying but not a deal-breaker, a systemd user unit might just help here.
But like, the accessibility stuff. THAT just working and doing so very well is sooooooooo important for me and my use-case. I friggin love this. <3
Gonna test external screen and all the other stuff later, for now I am just happy as heck :3
Okay, I'm done. I looked out for emdashes on Reddit posts today and there were too many.
Gonna go look for an extension that just instantly yeets everything with an emdash. Too fkn tired of this. It's literally in my Nostr bad-word list on it's own lol.
