[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time! Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob). I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =) (DMs always open.)

I think I am getting to the point where I may do a full week of internet detox. Like, entirely. Watch an anime, the whole week, leave the phone offline, the PC off, the laptop stashed away and only bring a physical wallet, cash and EC card if I need to buy stuff. No Reddit, no X (which ironically is the most wholesome SNS I use because my idol friends are the absolute best omg <3), no Nostr (which I would miss, always something to see here, if only a GM) and no Youtube either - not even tech news. Heck, not even regular news. Wouldn't even watch TV. Just my local Jellyfin conencted to my TV and binging. Full week of no information other than that anime. Because, realistically, the information overdose is taking it's toll on me. Every single refresh of the Reddit frontpage is more shitty news (DLSS 5 right now and some age ID laws and stuff), every time I open X I get a bombardement of ads, Instagram looooves to switch to the "For you" page instead of my follows and shows me a bunch of nobodies that use too many filters, Threads just has no idea what to recommend me in the first place so it just sucks all around, and I hardly have any good follows on BlueSky. And then there's the news: the Iran war, the general political happenings in germany and the EU, the not-happenings in the states (there are like zero prosecutions in regards to the Epstein files like wtf?!) and lord knows what most of the arabic countries are doing other than fighting each other (Pakistan vs. Afghanistan)... I am tired, boss...

Once, I thought of a business idea. You buy a hospital and equip each room and bed with live support maschines. Now, what you are selling, is "Coma time". You allow patients to effectively skip ahead by putting them into a controlled coma. You start with 3 days first and the more they come and the better you understand their health, you can allow them to go to 7 days, a month, or two and cap it at six months. Why? So one could hopefuly just skip this entire shitshow that is happening right now, of course.

Getting a warning from Reddit for writing that I'd love to punch Thiel in the face made me realize... Man, my thoughts towards those upperclass assholes have indeed become rather... crass. o.o Welp, guess the AI craze has radicalized me to wanting to punch billionares in the face or something. Oh well.

A reminder that billionaires and their friends suck: image I recieved this warning for writing "Fuck those billionaires" and alike. Sadly, the comment is fully removed, so I actually can not give you the full text. But what I can do is remind everyone that centralized services always bear a risk of destroying your online identity. They have their use-case, but they also have their flaws. Granted, this warning was issued by their automation and the information on appealing was clear and well stated. That said, if I sawear and rant about billionaires, trillionaires all the others being assholes, then I should be protected by free spech. For all that's worth, those motherfucking -illionaires can die while burning alive for all I care. I don't know then, I do not want to know them but I do have to deal with their decisions and subsequent consequences. So yeah, let 'em die.

I think imma start blogging on ze nostr. Why? Idk, I have stories to tell and I might as well put them at my favorite place. Any recommendations for a purely blog/long-form centric client?

Overslept like hell today x.x I did wake up at 6am, like usual, but after turning off the alarm, I was like, "Amma listen to news for five minutes." Well five minutes turned into an hour and fifty. X.x Classic...

Awww i liked the purple-with-colors logo more. But I guess a flat logo is nicer to fit in with the many others on a homescreen. o.o View quoted note →

I just learned about ECMA-404 specification. Arrays are, per spec, indeed, ordered. If an implementation does not adhere to that, it is also not adhering to the spec - so, ordered arrays; or rather, "insertion order", is supposed to be preserved. Well, I thus stand corrected on what I said in that regard. Just wanted to clarify that part! ...this still doesn't mean I am a fan of overloading tags like that x) But, gotta own my mistakes!
