[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time! Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob). I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =) (DMs always open.)

Today I configured Kasm Workspace on an AMD Athlon 3000G - WITH GPU acceleration and all. xD image ...Yep, RetroArch does, indeed, work. XD I plan on using this to spend my lunchbreak at work by dialing into this and playing some retro games. Yes, the save files are in fact linked to my real ones - my roms, my BIOSes, my saves. Not as elegant as a real game-streaming solution, but that'll come at a later point in time. ^-^ For now, this is an absurdly useful utility to get into apps that I can not install at work - or, straight up do not want to install. Really loving how this turned out =) This is running alongside OpenMediaVault, where all my disks run under MergerFS as a poor man'S RAID, since all those drives are "different". Have yet to slap an SSD into the x16 slot, and configure bcache or something - and perhaps feed it a bit more RAM (single channel 8GB...). But, all this aside, this is EPIC. A bit verbose in configuring (you gonna be slapping JSON objects into the config interface a lot) but does exactly what it promises on the packaging.

Please block, mute and report this npub: @ISRAEL 4 EVER DO NOT!!! look at their posts if you want to keep your lunch in your tummy. I am not joking. Also whoever runs this account? Go fuck yourself. Genuenly. Don't care if you're gaza, israel, or iran - just fuck yourself.

I do not live in the states, so all I can do is signal boosting. Please watch, and if you DO live in the USA, please do contact the peeps he points out. Much appreciated! ...why? What goes in america, will eventually go everywhere else - its often not the reverse. Case in point: Sideloading on iOS is possible in the EU, not in the USA. If it was the other way around, we'd have sideloading already. Because if USA has it, everyone has it. xD So yeah, please do support this - much appreciated. <3

Gentle reminder to the coin-people: There is a reason not everyone is chomping at the bit to use crypto x)

Downgrading wpa_supplicant to 2.10.x is /NOT/ a user-friendly solution. It's a 10 year old macbook, i'll give you that. But this is still pretty shit. x.x Wifi works. Next is fixing the sluggish Wayland sesh.

I grabbed my old 2015 Macbook Pro (11,0) I installed Fedora, after Kubuntu missed the mark (refused to install via Ventoy/EFI/grub2-mode) I somehow crawled my way through KDE's menus to find display zoom and color inversion Okay - so far, so good. A little annoying... but, workable. Alright, let's try WiFi... [ 5.493097] b43-phy0: Broadcom 4360 WLAN found (core revision 42) [ 5.493397] b43-phy0 ERROR: FOUND UNSUPPORTED PHY (Analog 12, Type 11 (AC), Revision 1) [ 5.493409] b43 bcma0:1: probe with driver b43 failed with error -95 [ 5.493440] Broadcom 43xx driver loaded [ Features: PNLS ] Alright, let's install the non-free repo and try again! ...spinning circle, intensified... Seriously? Linux? You had /one job/ xD Revive this old af macbook! xD Shoddy, but it even has a Wayland session - probably on the iGPU rather than dGPU (this model has that). Jeebus. x.x So much for the Linux Desktop, lol. Trying Ubuntu - without KDE - next. Sorry but this menu hell broke me.

Kinda wish there was an area in a town where I could build something like this... Would put a nice encloded room next to the house for a full 48U rack and dishes ontop to be as self-sovereign as possible! ...also, no more bad electricity. If it is bad, it's probably my fault x)

I kinda wish Yoke went out of their way to also include an abstraction over all those annoying API objects themselves. That said, this is genuenly pretty nice; I like this approach more than go-templated, messy Helm Charts. x.x Also, WASM. Woohoo ^^

I want to choke Namecheap. Literal scalpers. x.x Look up `kaguya.ai` on their site, and at their price tag. Why is it a premium domain? Because they own it: (enter kaguya.ai, scroll down) But, if you add a suffix, like kaguya-hime.ai, it is cheaper and not a premium domain anymore. Scumbags. x.x Why does this matter? It doesn't. Just my personal AI server project was put together under the name "Kaguya" and it is one of my favorite japanese names. Well I am not paying those motherfuckers three and a half of my monthly wages. -.-

Today is update day. My whole infra has been behind on them for a while. `apt update && apt upgrade -y` and `apk upgrade -U` all the things!
