Portugal’s right-leaning PSD plans a “digital age minimum”: under-16s can only use social media with parental consent via Chave Móvel Digital, a government ID system, requiring all citizens to reveal their Government-verified IDs to access the internet.
Oh Tágides of the Tagus, grant me voice
To praise Lisbon, written underfoot:
In black and white, the stones rejoice,
Each step bears history, worn but true.
No swords, no seas, no heroes crowned
Just walking makes a nation show;
For humble stone upon the ground
Teaches more than all the ships once knew.
I’ve been vibecoding a dashboard for Pubky homeservers.
Right now most people use Pubky through the Synonym homeserver. That’s convenient, but it also means fewer people actually run the infrastructure. The goal with this dashboard is simple: make homeservers easy to run and understand, so more people can self-host, making the network more decentralized, permissionless, and resilient.
I know Pubky can feel like a “competitor” to Nostr. I don’t really see it that way. I see overlapping values, different tradeoffs, and experiments that push each other forward. The web gets better when people try things instead of defending camps.
I’m still very much aligned with Nostr. This is just me following the work where it’s needed right now.
Been spending most of my time alone at home for the last few months, vibecoding and assembling infrastructure.
Dating? Boring, these girls don't even phantom the topics I like to talk about.
Open discord, everybody playing video games.
Go visit an old friend, playing videogames.
I go back home. It's more fun to be building, even if alone.
Idea for LND: a dynamic macaroon that only allows withdrawals up to the amount that has already been deposited. Like “balance limited by deposit history.”
