One more thing. In addition to building a Slack alternative on Nostr & embedding a mini Nostr client in our existing apps we are launching a public relay on some decent iron. The server is based in Switzerland and the datacenter runs primarily on geothermal and hydroelectric. We should have the relay ready to go early next week and we will share it widely. I have to say after living on every monolithic social app for over 15 years Nostr by far has the most engaging and welcoming community of people I have met. Also some of the most optimistic. There is so much potential in this protocol and you all know it. The connection with BTC (& payments) is almost gravy to what Nostr can help people build. Gushing completed.

So when do we think encrypted DMs (1to1 and Group) with come to Nostr? As we design out our Slack alternative (on Nostr) private chats, channels, etc come into play. Thoughts on how to offer these features? The relay behind this could be private for paid users (think biz users) but public for communities, social cause groups, academics, etc. #asknostr

Job Post: Our firm, Catalyze Software (https://catalyze.one) is looking to hire a PT or FT Rust developer (Backend or Full Stack) to work on a relay node scaling project. Ideally, candidates will have 5 years of Rust development experience. Experience as a lead software developer is also preferred but not required.
