If you buy something that’s packaged in plastic that says “BPA-free”, it’s almost definitely not BPS-free which is more toxic than BPA. Opt for glass bottles whenever possible.

From a heavy metal perspective you should avoid getting tattoos. I don’t know which metal is in each different color, but I know that the ink used to dye your skin is loaded with heavy metals. There are numerous different metals like lead, cadmium, aluminum, and nickel to name a few. Instead of getting a tattoo, just get ripped, tan, and beautiful instead! #GodMadeTheBodyPerfect

Unfortunately, environmental toxicity is the most difficult to escape and yet possibly the most impactful on one’s health. -Pesticides in the air from the mass fumigation they do to monocrops -Aluminum leeching into the food from the pesticides breaking down the aluminum in the soil -Brake dust floating around in the air in cities -Cell phone towers and wifi giving off EMF’s -Absorbtion of phthalates because everything is made of plastic (And many others) But luckily we have dirt (bentonite clay)! I am convinced that at the very least given bentonite clay’s negative charge when hydrated helps with neutralizing the positive charge that EMF’s give off. Additionally, it’s extremely good at clinging to toxins which include heavy metals, aluminum (a toxic metal, but not a heavy metal), and pesticides. #MudBoi

I’m old enough to remember cell phones becoming more compact and commonplace and moms -with very little evidence- talking about how cell phones can cause cancer. Mothers’ intuition was very attuned to the dangers of EMF’s. Keep your phone out of your front pocket. Keep it out of your chest pocket Throw it on speaker phone or plug in some wired-headphones to takes calls. #PuraVida

If you want to save your lower back the trouble and pull a pro-move at the same time, use kettlebell front squats to blast your legs. The front squats alleviates the pressure on the lower back. It also works your core simultaneously. Bonus points if you use those mini-ramps to do the squats on a decline.

Saw someone doing back squats with those Hoka gym shoes and heavy enough weight that it was forcing them to lean forward. Hoka gym shoes have to be the most padded gym shoes I’ve ever seen in my life, they’re basically lifts made of tempurpedic mattresses. This combination is a disaster for your lower back.

Anyone remember that episode of The Office where Michael roasts Dwight about him brushing his teeth with butter and clay? Dwight was ahead of his time. Straight bentonite clay and Redmond’s salt makes for a fine toothpaste on it’s own. Do some coconut oil pulling in addition to hedge your bet. #MudBoy

Just took a leap of faith by plugging my nsec into the Primal iOS client on my Mac. It was just as magical as importing my private key into a new hardware wallet for the first time. Hopefully I haven’t compromised myself😅 #Primal

If I’m not mistaken I believe the first instance of “Bulletproof Coffee” was a fermented black tea mixed with yak butter. Additionally I’ve heard of African tribe chewing on coffee beans for energy, but covering it in pork fat when they consume it. So this may be one of those things where caffeine stand alone isn’t preferable, but when properly prepared you can mitigate most -if not all- of the negative impacts. #coffeechain

There is an equal amount of literature on caffeine being good for you and caffeine being bad for you. So my approach is cautious moderation. My initial thought is that caffeine has Lindy behind it. However, I know allowing the body to use this as a crutch for energy is never a good thing and caffeine is a natural insecticide which can be damaging to the gut lining. I drink a small amount, no more than a cup and a half in a day. No more than a single espresso shot if I’m having espresso. I always consume as early in the day as possible so as to not disrupt sleep. I almost always consume it after a meal. I almost always cut it with a fat and a carb. Raw milk or preferably affogato with a scoop of raw milk ice cream. And I sure as hell DO NOT drink it out of a plastic lined cup. #coffechain ☕️

Throw a pinch of Redmond’s salt in your coffee grounds. It cuts the acidity.

I have heard everything from DoorDash for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to Adderall and salad diets. If you are shopping the outside perimeter of your local Super Walmart aisles you are in much better shape than most people. But we don’t just strive to be better than the average person, that’s too low of a bar. We strive to be the best we possibly can be. Don’t be sorry, anon! Just be better! #SuperWalmart

When asked about my diet, I typically describe that it’s 80%+ animal-based, I usually get the response “Oh so you just eat a lot of protein!” Yeah I eat plenty of protein, but that’s not exactly the point. If replaced all of my animal-based foods with the protein-equivalent of some whey protein powder, I can guarantee I wouldn’t even remotely get the same results. The point is that the protein (and many many other nutrients) I’m eating is coming from properly raised animals fed a species appropriate diet so nature has packaged all of the nutrition in a dense and bioavailable way that is compatible with the human body. #TheHumanDiet

On the topic of bentonite clay helping to blunt the impact of plant toxins. For the first time in 3 weeks I had some caffeine. Prior to buying an espresso shot I had a small glass of water with a spoonful of bentonite clay mixed in. My body, shockingly, took the caffeine in stride giving me a nice boost of smooth energy without any jitters, sweats, or anxiety. Caffeine is a plant toxin so I’m wondering if the impact was blunted by the clay. Someone else try this out so this becomes less anecdotal! #TwoClaysAndASugar

There is an argument to be made that vegetarians in not-so-developed countries are healthier than vegetarians in more modernized countries because the lack of cleanliness of the vegetables may include soil, bugs, and bug eggs which protects them from the plant toxins and provides them with additional proteins from the bugs. #VegetariansShouldEatTheBugs
