It’s actually pretty unbelievable that there’s a market for people giving advice on what is considered human-compatible food. All animals instinctively know this. Small children instinctively know this. Unfortunately, The State and the rent-seeking bureaucrats at 3 letter NGOs have hijacked the food system by way of a broken monetary system incentivizing production of cheap food rather than optimal and compatible food and allowing for devastating mono-crop agricultural practices only made economical through government subsidies; in turn, the “food” most have access to is artificial, incompatible for humans, and devoid of nutrients.

Because bentonite clay clings to toxins, bacteria and parasites it’s believed that pregnant women and children are the most common to experience geophagy (craving of dirt) because their immune system is most susceptible and this effectively acts as a “mud mask” for the gut clinging to the impurities. #RubSomeDirtOnIt

People think I basically live in the gym to build my body. Then I tell them I actually don’t enjoy being in the gym for more than 45 minutes to an hour. Then I tell them I only lift weights 4 times a week and the rest days are going for walks. Then I tell them I eat a bunch of sourdough bread and ice cream. Then I tell them I recently started eating dirt. Then they walk away after the dirt thing.

When it comes to high quality nutrient dense food I have ZERO hesitation to shell out for my groceries. I firmly believe that the quality of the food I buy could only very marginally be improved upon to the point the distinction would be unclear. If I had a billion dollars the only thing I would change about the way I eat is that I would purchase a few more additional ribeye steaks.

I’ve began using bentonite clay to brush my teeth. So far so good. I use it for a mud mask as well because it clings to the impurities in your pores and pulls them out. The clay is supposed to latch onto toxins before they enter the blood stream, so for the sake of experiment I’m going to consume a bunch of champagne some time in the next couple weekends and chase it with some bentonite clay at the end of the night and see if it has any impact on avoiding hangovers by latching onto the acetaldehyde precursors.

Eating dirt is a practice as old as time. The possible idea is that it protects your gut from pathogens, parasites, and even plant toxins. I wonder if humans were more protected from plant toxins in prior generations because they ate the vegetables with some level of dirt. #PuraVida

There are people who bake their foods instead of frying solely because they think it’s inherently healthier while at the same time glazing their food with seed oils before throwing it in the oven😀

I once asked a restaurant (Au Coeval in Chicago) what kind of fat they use to fry their foods - to prove a point to a family member - and of course, they happened to use beef tallow so I promptly ordered multiple orders of french fries. But on numerous occasions, I’ll ask and the result will be “a mix of canola and soybean oil” and my response is almost always “Oh wow, amazing!” as I promptly walk out and never come back.

For those of you trying to ditch plastic clothes and switch to natural fibers. Socks are one of the most difficult items to find that are made of 100% natural fibers. I’ve tried 100% cotton socks, but if you are someone who is ripped and beautiful and aligned with the truth these socks easily get torn up over the course of a few months of lifting weights and going for walks. Your best bet is to set yourself up to do as many things as possible barefoot (Which you should have been striving to do already so you can better exercise your foot muscles) or with shoes that have leather insoles that you can go barefoot in (loafers or Birkenstocks). If I’m at a commercial gym I will typically wear Birkenstocks for more stationary lifts. #FiatClothes

I know I’m yelling into the abyss here, but does anyone know if the Damus app just disappears off my laptop when the App Store cuts it loose? the double digit sats from these zaps are what put food on my table and Apple is trying to take the food out of my 9 children’s mouths. These people are sick. #ZapMeBabyOneMoreTime

When I was doing strict carnivore 3 years back, I could tell the difference in the quality of my sleep when I incorporated caffeine and when I didn’t. Nowadays, I only have coffee after I’ve eaten breakfast. I take a few sips of straight black coffee then cut it with real milk or real cream. I can’t explain the biochemistry at play here, but the caffeine no longer has any noticeable impact on my sleep.

I tried protein shakes when I was 18. Didn’t see much improvement and ditched them after a couple months. Even back then they felt too fiat for me, but I couldn’t yet explain it. Coffee milkshakes made with ice cream made of real milk is my protein shake for morning workouts.
