Welp. Sitting here in the dark listening. The crickets on the left are doing unison chirping, all of them chirping at once and stopping at the same time. And the ones off to the right are following every man for himself rules. It's a bit strange cuz usually it's the ones on the right that want to get all organized and do unison chirping.

Well, I lost my Pooh puppy tonight. My house seems dead. No quiet snoring. No sounds of position adjustment. Nobody to snag bread off the counter, rip open the bag, and inhale half a loaf of bread. No one to go outside with. No one to come back in with. I hope that these four years were the best of his life. He sure got lots of love. I would have paid whatever it took. But the vet said there was no chance of his recovery. I am so so so sad and alone. My eyes are leaking lots.
