had great write up that partially explains this. Essentially, yuppies inherently TRUST the system, and could never believe the system is flawed or doomed because they’ve benefitted from it. While minorities & immigrants’ default mode is DISTRUST. When Giannis did this, I bet his team owner, and most white people in his life told him he’s being paranoid. Not aware if he has anything in bitcoin yet, but I’m sure if he hears about it, he’ll be all over it.
