My New Year’s resolution is going to be the year of NixOS. As a DevOps engineer, It’s everything I want out of an operating system, but I have been too afraid to really deep dive into it. I am currently in the middle of installing it on my daily driver, with heavy influence from the configs from the config confessions episode. Wish me luck! Happy New Year!

Here is a little extra for the holidays. I think a Holiday Home Lab special is a great idea and I will be submitting mine as soon as I can. Maybe you can include an award for longest running server?

I heard a while back mention of TalosOS and it intrigued me. I haven’t had a chance to play with it until now. A need arose for a dev Kubernetes cluster so I figured I would try it. It’s stupid how easy Talos makes it. What was originally a week’s worth of effort was done in like 5 minutes. I will be playing around more with it but very happy so far. As always, love the show. Thanks for all you do!
