“The strength of a relationship is in the repair.” We often think that avoiding issues ‘keeps the peace’, but really every time you run away from an issue you weaken your relationship. This is true of any kind of relationship, partners, friends, children, colleagues, etc.

Diversity isn’t charity, it’s strategy. If you are building a global product, how would you expect to build your product without a diverse team who has perspective on that global market? And you know, half the world is female! So if you’d like half of the world to consider your product, you should include some people on your team who have perspective on the market that is half of the world and who makes the majority of the purchase decisions. That would be some solid strategy. Now, quotas… that is not great strategy.

The American worship of billionaires and “risk takers” breeds wild irresponsibility. Everyone is trying to take on risk to “hit it big”, and we wind up glorifying screwing people over. We gotta stop this bullshit.

When in an abusive relationship leaving is very dangerous and appeasing is a survival skill. It’s very important to keep that in mind when looking at specific examples like texts that Diddy’s girlfriends might have sent him.
